Loons' Quilt

Loons' Quilt The top half of this quilt represents cyberspace, and includes dialog balloons with snippets of quilt talk heard in our Home. It also has the nicknames of all my online quilt buddies quilted around the stars using metallic thread.

The bottom half represents the physical side of my online life. Dribbling down the left side are glass beads I made after finding information on the web. The coffee mug represents my online job with PC World Online. Next to the envelope of fabric (a great bonus of online quilting!) are several examples of nail art, and in the bottom right corner is a loon wearing a fez, for I am the Grand Poobah.

The first border is copper lame, the constant use of which has earned me the nickname Loonz LaMay. The last border is made from a small sample of the fabric I've received from my online friends.
