Sew a strip of C to a D strip. You will have a unit that is 6 ½” tall by about 42 “. Repeat making 5 such units. Press the seams to the darker fabric.
Cut into rectangles that are 3 ½” wide by 6 ½”. Cut 48 of these rectangles.
