MysteryBus Tour - Part 3

Hi!  Glad to see you are still with us.  Now that we have our pieces collected and sorted it is time to start putting them together.  One of my favorite features of rural homes are the many split-rail fences to be found.  Which reminds me . . . you need to collect a few things from your "cutting".  Are you ready?  Then let's get started!

First you will need from:

Your strips should now measure 6 1/2" wide. Now sew the color 2 strips to the color 1 strips, right sides together.  Press open toward the dark fabric.  Next sew the color 3 strips to the other side of the color 1 strips, right sides together.  Open and press to the dark fabric.  You might want to use the 'ever-true' scant 1/4" seam allowance.

Cut them in 6 1/2" sections to make 6 1/2" squares.  You should be able to get 6 from each strip and will need 36 (80) each.  Go ahead and put your 'split-rail' squares aside for later.  Take a rest and enjoy your accomplishment!  You did a good job.
