How Many Seasons Are There?

1996-97 NOQ Challenge

Although the challenge is over, you may want to see what the challenge was before you see the quilts.

Rules:

• Quilts must be wallhanging size, between 24x24 and 45x45 inches. They don't have to be square though.
• Quilts can be made using any method.
• Each person signing up needs to use some of the challenge fabric in the quilt someplace.
• There must be added embellishments some place on the front (ie: buttons, charms, stray pets, etc.)
• Completion deadline is June 1, 1997, more or less.

This challenge is meant to spark your creativity. You can use one or more of the traditional 4 seasons in your quilt, or you can create using some other sort of season. Quilts can be as traditional or as wild as you want.  Just have fun with this!  If you have any questions, post them on the bulletin board.

And now... the quilts.

The quilts were shown at the Greater Flint Arts Council Quilts at the Crossroads show in Flint, Michigan on September 26-28, 1997. The comments heard about the quilts were very favorable.
